Available for sale, a complete biodiesel refinery consisting of 5 skid mounted refinery units capable of producing 110 tonnes per day of biodiesel to satisfy quality standard ENI4214 . There are 4 units of 20 tonne per day and 1 off 30 tonne per day.

The process is based on the trans-esterification of vegetable oil with methanol to give biodiesel and glycerol. To maximise conversion the reaction process is carried out within 3 similar sequential steps where the feedstock is progressively reacted with further additions of both alcohol and catalyst. The crude product and by-products are separated through a combination of forced coalescence and gravity separation at each of the reaction steps. The crude product and by-product streams are individually collected and separately refined to provide end products of acceptable quality.

The process is split into 5 separate areas:

1.        Reaction section

2.        Biodiesel Flash

3.        Biodiesel Wash

4.        Glycerol Wash

5.        Methanol Distillation.

4 off 48000 litre Vertical Stainless Steel Blending Tank. 2900 mm diameter by 7400 mm tall. Wall 4mm. Dish top and dish bottom sits on 4 pads.

 

2 off 30000 litre Vertical Stainless Steel Storage Tank. 2700 mm diameter by 5300 mm tall. Wall 5mm. Flat top and flat bottom.

3 off 250 cubic metre Vertical Stainless Steel Storage Tank. Vertical Stainless Steel Storage Tank. 6200 mm diameter by 8900 mm tall. Wall 5mm. Flat top and flat bottom with internal 9.2 square metre warming coil.

 

1 off 20000 litre Horizontal Stainless steel Tank apprx 2300 mm diameter by 5200 mm long. Wall ~ 3mm

 

1 off Degumming Skid. 3 off 2500 litre Stainless steel mixing tanks with agitators, Silversen inline mixer, misc pumps and piework on skid.

 

1 off FFA Skid with 5000 litre 316 SS Tank plus 2270 litre glasslined reactor, separator pot, , pumps, heaters
